Just a bit late, here are the meeting minutes for the November meeting, held Monday November 2 at Field to Fork Restaurant in downtown Sheboygan.
Members present discussed in detail the goals and objectives that were originally written by SALFA members at the group’s inception.
The winter film series was discussed and the lineup finalized. We decided on 5 films:
- The Future of Food
- Fresh, Inc.
- King Corn
- Mad City Chickens
- Food, Inc.
Different venues suggested with many good possibilities put forth.
Doing demonstrations at the Winter Farmer’s Market is upon us again. Last year, SALFA did demonstrations on farm eggs, canning, making apple butter, and cooking with root vegetables just to name a few. Different possible demonstrations for this coming year were suggested.
