Judy Tauschek, Farmers Market Manager for SCIO, said she would like to let everyone know that volunteers to help with the Summer markets would be very helpful to her. The volunteeers would help her with education, to answer questions, identify vegetables and how to prepare them, distribute recipes and maybe talk about what’s in season when. For volunteeers this would not have to be an every week thing but when they could fit it into their schedule on a Wednesday or Saturday, and volunteers would probably only be needed during peak hours, maybe from 9AM to Noon.
